The Dallas Mavericks proudly partnered with artist Jonathan Lucio to create the 2026 Los Mavs Heritage Capsule, a thoughtfully curated collection honoring the rich culture, tradition, and visual identity of Hispanic heritage.

Rooted in Jonathan’s experience as a first-generation Mexican American, this capsule is more than apparel, it incorporates his childhood visits to Mexico, where vibrant storefronts and hand-painted signage left a lasting impression. To the neighborhood panadería he visited with his father that is still standing today, each memory serves as creative inspiration. These formative moments shaped not only his artistic voice, but also the spirit of this collection.

Through carefully considered silhouettes, culturally inspired graphics, and intentional design techniques, Jonathan brings his story to life, while reflecting the shared experiences of many in the Hispanic community.

This collaboration represents a tribute to identity, community, and the enduring cultural legacy carried forward through generations.
